{"id":176,"date":"2024-10-11T06:38:08","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T06:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/demo.usefidelhi.com\/?page_id=176"},"modified":"2025-05-27T06:23:52","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T06:23:52","slug":"fulbright-nehru-masters-fellowships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/magnongroup.in\/usief_new\/fulbright-fellowships\/fellowships-for-indian-citizen\/fulbright-nehru-masters-fellowships\/","title":{"rendered":"2026-2027 Fulbright-Nehru Master&#8217;s Fellowships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fulbright-Nehru Master\u2019s Fellowships are designed for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor\u2019s degree, have at least three years professional work experience, and are committed to return and contribute to their communities in India. <\/p>\n<p>These fellowships are awarded for up to two years to pursue a master\u2019s degree at U.S. colleges and universities.  <\/p>\n<div id=\"accordionExample\" class=\"accordion mt-5\">\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 id=\"headingOne\" class=\"accordion-header\"><button class=\"accordion-button\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseOne\" aria-expanded=\"true\" aria-controls=\"collapseOne\"><br \/>\nGrant Benefits<br \/>\n<\/button><\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseOne\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"headingOne\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\">\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p>The fellowship will provide J-1 visa support, round-trip economy class air travel from fellow\u2019s home city to the host institution in the U.S., funding for tuition and fees, living and related costs, and accident and sickness coverage per U.S. Government guidelines.*<\/p>\n<p>The Fulbright-Nehru Master\u2019s Fellowships provide no financial support for dependents.<\/p>\n<p><i>* USIEF funding may not cover all costs and the fellow may need to supplement grant benefits with other resources.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"accordion-item\">\n<h2 id=\"headingTwo\" class=\"accordion-header\"><button class=\"accordion-button collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapseTwo\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapseTwo\"><br \/>\nEligibility Requirements<br \/>\n<\/button><\/h2>\n<div id=\"collapseTwo\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse\" aria-labelledby=\"headingTwo\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordionExample\">\n<div class=\"accordion-body\">\n<p><b>In addition to the <a href=\"\/contact-us\/general-prerequisites\/\" target=\"_blank\">General Prerequisites<\/a>, the applicant: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have completed an equivalent of a U.S. bachelor&#8217;s degree from a recognized Indian university with at least 55% marks. Applicants must either possess a four-year bachelor&#8217;s degree or a completed master&#8217;s degree; or a full-time postgraduate diploma from a recognized Indian institution, if the bachelor&#8217;s degree is of less than four years&#8217; duration;\n<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least three years&#8217; full-time (paid) professional work experience relevant to the proposed field of study by the application deadline;\n<\/li>\n<li>Should demonstrate experience in leadership and community service;\n<\/li>\n<li>Must not have another degree from a U.S. university or be enrolled in a U.S. degree program; and\n<\/li>\n<li>If employed, should follow the instructions carefully regarding employer\u2019s endorsement. If applicable, obtain the endorsement from the appropriate administrative authority on the FNMasters Employer\u2019s Endorsement Form. The employer must indicate that leave will be granted for the fellowship period.\n<\/li>\n<li>Employees of the Government of India and Indian State Governments are not eligible for any Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships.
